Business for Photographers takes your privacy very seriously.

We are concerned about your security and privacy on the Internet!

Please take a few moments to review the steps that we take to ensure your privacy and security while giving you the best possible customer service as you use our web site.

Ordering Online:

Any data you submit to us through an online order form is transferred to us via Secure Sockets Layer—an encryption protocol—and is kept in databases that cannot be accessed from outside our firewall. As such, any data you send is encrypted, so in the unlikely event a hacker intercepts your data, it would be very difficult to read. Further, we do not store the details of credit cards used for payments.

Confidentiality:

Business for Photographers will not sell or rent your name or information to anyone. Only authorized employees have access to any information you submit. We may use your name and contact details to send you information on other products or services that may suit your interests.

Information Collected:

Lucrative Lumens newsletter:

If you subscribe to our Lucrative Lumens newsletter, we will retain your name and email address. As with all other personal information, only employees of Business for Photographers have access to this data. We do not give Business for Photographers addresses to outside companies.  We will not rent or sell your email address.  Any email you send to us is completely confidential. We will not add your name to our email list without your permission. For security reasons, if your inquiry is about one of your subscriptions, we may ask you to submit some additional information only to verify your identity. Remember, in this case we are only asking you to confirm information you have already given us.

Fiscal Focus premium members' area:

As above but we will also retain information relating to the administration of your account (If you provide us with more detailed information we will use it to improve our services and products). We do not store your credit card information.

We hope that you will utilize every tool we offer. By definition any information you post in the paid-members areas will only be visible to other paid members and Business for Photographers employees. Publicly posting your email address or a URL is a good way to give others a way to get to know you and contact you—but you do so at your own risk. It is our recommendation that you use multiple email addresses depending upon the apparent security and discretion of the venue you are posting in (we do). We will always contact you through the contact information you supply to us directly. We moderate all content on this website and this is a site that services professionals and we expect all our members to act accordingly.
